Kaelie and Mare photo shoot!!! Wooohoo!

So, this photo shoot is the result of my husband out of town for the weekend and me hanging out with the girls.....we watched a little Sex and the City, ate some pizza and ice cream and then this led to that and we decided it was time for an impromptu model shoot. I know, we feel like 12 year olds about it but it was SO FUN! Besides, I have known these girls since 5th grade and this is just one of those craaaazy things we like to do! Actually, I was going to do separate shoots for each of them for my portfolio but since I had them both together at my house for the whole weekend, well.....when in Rome.
I think we got some fun stuff....and, they are both gorgeous so I couldn't TAKE a bad picture of them.

Married! Woohoo Jessica and Lorren!

SO, Friday.....it was at Copper River, at sunset (gorgeous!). I gotta be honest, I was worried about the sun setting during the ceremony, in fear that it would just blare right in everyone's faces and into my camera; but in worked in our favor and the wedding was wonderful :) In fact, the weather was perfect as can be, and it was even a little windy (as you will see in one of these shots where Jessica's veil was blowing all over the place!).
All in all, a success, so Congrats Jess and Lorren! You guys are the best!
I know I got carried away with the pictures that have sun flare, but there was just such GREAT flare that day! I couldn't get enough of it! ACK! (that's totally Charlie Brown by the way.....or is it Cathy? "ACK!"?)
And as for this slideshow it will be posted SOON but....be warned....tissues may be needed. I watched it three times already and cried like a baby.
These two are just so perfectly, purely in love. It's amazing to watch them together. They bring out the best of one another....I don't even know them that well and I can say that just from the small amount of time I've spent with them. Ah, love!

Oh and p.s. I am fartin' around with a new watermark, so lemme know what you think. I am going for the "less is more" approach. Stimulating, I know.





So, Jessica was a little late getting to Copper River, so the dress had to be put on in the bathroom stall....not your ideal spot for slipping into your wedding gown, but hey, whatever works!

SENIORS! I love Heather!

Ok evaray-boday! It's about that time for the High School Seniors out there to start thinking about gettin' their pictures done!
So, to help me lure all of you youngins in, I got Heather here to show you JUST how fun and awesome getting your pictures taken is! I love this girl! Not only is she beautiful, but she is the sweetest thing you'll ever meet. I have known her for years and years as my littlest bro's girlfriend....so stay away boys she's taken ;) by a NAVY MAN no less!
Anyway, since I still can't figure out how to post slideshows, (stupid technology) I just put a bazillion of my favorites up because I just can't choose between them....they all turned out amazing and Heather looks hot in every single one of 'em!
So hot, in fact, that some random old guys came up to us and asked Heather if they could take a picture with her, since they thought she was a model! It was pretty hilarious and I felt that I should have charged those dirty old men for honing in on MY model, but if was just too funny and harmless to even bother. And when they left they wished her good luck on her modeling career and they wished me good luck on my photography career! Quite an interesting shoot.....
